Tai Chi Basics. Designed for people who have never studied a Tai Chi pattern with a teacher, the class focuses on movement and basic principles of Tai Chi Chuan. As the first course in the curriculum, it provides preparation for a student to begin studying a longer pattern. It is also an excellent course for someone who wants to learn a basic Tai Chi pattern and may not want to pursue a longer form.

Original Yang Style 108 Posture Pattern is one of the most popular Tai Chi Chuan patterns in the world. It was created more than 200 years ago by Yang Lu-Shan. There are 36 key postures in the Traditional Yang Style Pattern; all the movements are slow, gentle, stable, relaxed, and the big-frame circular motions make this pattern extremely flowing.
