The Traditional 108 Original Yang Style Pattern
The 108 pattern is one of the most popular Tai Chi Chuan patterns in the world. It was created more than 200 years ago by Yang Lu-Shan. There are 36 key postures in the Traditional Yang Style Pattern; all the movements are slow, gentle, stable, relaxed, and the big-frame circular motions make this pattern extremely flowing.
The courses emphasize the traditional Yang Style Tai Chi theories, principles, and rules. All the teaching follows the original Yang Style Tai Chi oral and recorded instructions and introduces Master Lin Mo-Gen's Tai Chi principles and concepts.
Master Lin Mo-Gen, an 91-year old Yang Style Tai Chi authority, is one of the few remaining forefront fifth-generation figures in Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan in China today. He is the fifth generation exponent of Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan and the fifth disciple of Grandmaster Li Ya-Xuan who was the fourth generation exponent of the Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan. Our master, Lily Qin, is one of Master Lin Mo-Gen's disciples and has received his authorization to teach this style.
